Jack Reid has made many trips to Carcasse since his
first visit in 2008. He has been accompanied and helped at various times
by other members of our Haiti Committee, including Deacon Dave Cahoon, Francis Mackie, Tony and Jonathan Chmelik, Diana Snouffer, and Mary Carrlson. Building the school and planning out other aid was a major focus of the first trips. Also, St. Mary's helped bring the first medical doctor to Carcasse and has participated in annual Medical Mission Trips.
