We are now collecting fashionable prom gowns for a giveaway to benefit inner city senior high school students and help Haiti too this Spring 2012. We need your help gathering up donations of beautiful prom gowns! Gowns which are not selected, will be turned over to third parties to be offered for sale; we will use our net proceeds to help Haiti.
DROP OFF YOUR GOWN(S) in our box at one of the following convenient stores:
Nine West Shop at Whiteflint Mall Mens Warehouse at Lakeforest Mall
If you want a receipt, please attach a self addressed envelope to your gown.
Our Giveaway will be held on March 10th, 2012 from 10 am to 1 pm at St. Martin's Church at 1908 North Capitol Street NW. There will be two sessions, one beginning at 10am and one beginning at 11:30am. Mothers are especially welcome to accompany their daughters!

If you are a 12th grader in need of a prom gown, please email
Susan Jamison at SusanSFO@msn.com. Preference is given to 12th graders but 11th graders will be allowed to waitlist for open spots.
When attending the event, please note
that you should wear a camisole and shorts for modest changing of
clothes as we have no changing rooms at the event.
Can you help us by collecting gowns at your church or school or amongst your friends, sorority or co-workers?
Every donation will help. We intend to give away over 100 gowns. All
gowns which are left over after the event will be sold at consignment to
raise money for Haiti. This is a major fundraiser for our Haiti Fund
and your help is very valuable.
YOU WILL BE TWICE BLESSED!
You will be helping the inner city girls who would love to have a
beautiful dress to wear and you will be helping our twin parish in
Carcasse in its struggles with poverty.
